JUDGE JOJO LIU
Judge Jojo Liu was appointed to the Salt Lake City Justice Court by Mayor Erin Mendenhall in June 2022. Previously, she was the Director of the Salt Lake County Office of Criminal Justice Initiatives and the Director of the Salt Lake County Criminal Justice Advisory Council (CJAC). From 2007-2015, she was a Clinical Law Professor and Co-Director of the Juvenile Justice Clinic at Loyola Law School- Los Angeles. Judge Liu currently serves on the Utah State Bar Access to Justice Commission and is a founding board member of First Star Foster Youth Academy at the University of Utah. She is a graduate of Harvard College and received a juris doctorate degree from Columbia Law School. 8/22
