Pursuant to rules of procedure for the Ethics Advisory Committee, Informal Opinion 97-7 was reconsidered by the Judicial Council. On January 26, 1998, the Judicial Council issued Formal Opinion 98-1, which replaces Informal Opinion 97-7.
