JUDGE CAS MELANSON WHITE
Judge Cas Melanson White was appointed to the Seventh District Juvenile Court in May of 2024 by Governor Spencer J. Cox. She serves Grand, San Juan, Carbon, and Emery Counties. Judge White graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2000. She obtained a Juris Doctorate degree from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah in 2006. After graduating law school, Judge White worked as a Guardian ad Litem, an Assistant Attorney General in Child Protection, and as a parental defense attorney in Juvenile Court. She also worked as a court-qualified mediator. Judge White has been involved in treatment courts as a Guardian ad Litem and Assistant Attorney General. She now presides over the Grand County Adult Treatment Court Program and the Carbon County Family Treatment Court Program. 3/25
