Sex Offender Registry

Utah law requires the Utah Department of Corrections to develop, operate, and maintain a registry of persons (corrections.utah.gov) who have been convicted of certain sex offenses. Utah Code Ann. §77-41-106.

Victims' Rights

The Utah Office of Crime Victim Reparations (crimevictim.utah.gov) provides qualified crime victims compensation for specific types of expenses. An informational flyer (crimevictim.utah.gov) is available on their website.

The Utah Office of Victim Services (corrections.utah.gov) provides information, assistance and support to victims of crime whose victimizers are in the custody of the Utah Department of Corrections, and to employees who are victims of work place violence.
